So much talk of borders and boundaries lately. Not only the borders of nations, but the boundaries between people seem to have shifted during the pandemic. What with masks and distancing and zoom meetings; what with those vaccinated and those who choose not to be vaccinated, how will our borders and boundaries continue to shift? And what do they look like? And what of that area between the borders? The no one’s land, the neutral zone, the out of bounds, the part after me and before you? After you and before me? This series of oil paintings reflects on these matters.
